Chloe II

When I was visiting Chloé last weekend in Berlin, she reminded me that I still haven’t uploaded her Mallorca pictures to my blog. And that is truly a shame, because we did some really great work together there.

The whole idea for our short trip started on a cold winter day, when Chloé wrote me that she would love to do another outdoor shooting with me. She suggested April, when she would have some days off. “April?”, I answered skeptically. It was a windy and unpleasant day and I imagined a similar weather here in April. “Where do you want to shoot outdoor in April? On Mallorca?”, I joked. “Good idea”, was the next I read followed by some flight suggestions and several shooting proposals. Obvious, she wasn’t so much into joking than I was.

What I greatly appreciate about Chloé is her perseverance and her never fading enthusiasm. She always tries to get the best out of a setting. Constantly asking to have a look on the screen of my camera in order to improve her pose, correct her outfits or enhance her look. This is the type of portrait shooting I like the most. Not a model and photographer just focusing on their own jobs, but two people being creative together and bringing sensual, expressive and unique pictures into being.
